Hosanna Sewakai Nepal (HSN) is a dedicated non-governmental organization based in Ward No. 8 of Kageshwori Manohara Municipality, Kathmandu District, Bagmati Province. Established and registered under Registration No. 1178 on 2070/03/24 at the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, we are also affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, Pulchowk, Kageshwori Manohara Municipality. Our main office is located at Kirat Chowk, Ward No. 8, Kageshwori Manohara Municipality.

Hosanna Sewakai Nepal (HSN) is committed to serving communities across Nepal through practical support, compassionate outreach, and Christ-centered transformation. Our initiatives strengthen families, uplift vulnerable people, and empower local communities to thrive—spiritually, socially, and economically. Below are the key areas where HSN actively serves: Supporting Peace, Safety & Community Restoration- our team partnered and provides critical tools, resources, and guidance. This quick intervention helped restore essential services, strengthen security operations, and rebuild trust between law enforcement and the local community. Clean Water Access for Rural Communities- This initiative promotes sustainable, long-term access to clean water—improving the health and well-being of families across the region. Empowering Youth and Strengthening House Churches- Training topics included: Effective use of health and hygiene kits during community outreach Growing in leadership, discipleship, and service Literacy & Education Programs- Adult Literacy Program- The program strengthened: Basic reading and writing skills Confidence and self-worth Social participation and independence This initiative is helping break cycles of marginalization and poverty. Youth & Community Engagement- We run youth conferences, awareness programs, and meaningful podcasts addressing current issues and uplifting young leaders. Prison Ministry & Family Support Leadership & Spiritual Formation - Legacy Training Health & Humanitarian Outreach - HSN extends compassion to vulnerable and underserved communities through: Health camps in remote and rural regions Distribution of essential goods (food, hygiene items, clothing, resources) Support for marginalized populations facing economic hardship Our goal is to bring hope, dignity, and practical help to families in need.

Where We Work
Hosanna Sewakai Nepal mainly operates in Kathmandu, particularly in Kageshwori Manohara Municipality, but extends its programs across various regions such as Surkhet, Nawalparasi, Jajarkot, Sindhuli, Chitwan, Dailekh, Bhaktapur, Dharan, and Kavre based on community needs. We work with diverse marginalized groups, including Santhal, Rana Tharu, Musahar, Harijan, Rajbansi, Chamar, Raji, Dhimal, Badi, Chepang, and others, impacting 92 communities nationwide.
Our focus is on empowering vulnerable populations; women, youth, disaster-affected individuals, and underprivileged students who face economic hardships and limited access to essential services. We prioritize supporting communities identified as backward by the government, aiming to help them overcome social and economic barriers and improve their livelihoods through targeted, sustainable interventions.

HSN is committed to long-term sustainability by fostering local ownership, building community capacity, and strengthening local networks. We focus on resource mobilization, knowledge sharing, and transparent management to ensure ongoing community-led development. Our holistic approach addresses health, education, income, and leadership needs, creating resilient communities that can sustain and expand progress beyond project timelines.
